America's Crossroad

This message was once preached from every pulpit in the country with sincerity, and practiced by the populace with perseverance. The principles on which, if America does not return to, she does so to her own demise.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word...(Ephesians 5:25-26)

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. (Ephesians 5:28)

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. (Ephesians 5:22-24)

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. (Colossians 3:20)

Society as a whole has gotten away from the biblical principles on which this country was founded. Liberalism, secularism, humanism, and atheism have eroded the foundations of our past. The Bible foretells a falling away in the last days, commonly referred to as apostasy. With all the end time prophecies given to us, apostasy is one of those that has never been so prevalent as it is today. The Bible states concerning the end times,

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

America needs a few more preachers who have the backbone to tell it like it is. Liberalism and lukewarm religion have no place being spewed from the pulpits.
