The Communist, Radical and Progressive Appeasement Fund

Ah, the joys of the progressive name game.

First, we had the Stimulus Plan. Then it was the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act--not to be confused with ARRA. Now they refer to it simply as Recovery.

In an effort to sweeten the "stimulus" pot from the original $787 billion, and to dupe those "wary" Republicans who might be on to their game, progressives are touting the "Jobs Bill".

Regardless of what Congress and this administration prefers to call it or how you begin to slice it, there are a few questions that beg to be answered.

First of all, if the purpose was to "stimulate" the economy and rescue it from the brink of destruction, why has only $415 billion been spent?

The American public was led to believe that an economic catastrophe loomed just over the horizon. This inevitable collapse of our economy was the impetus for injecting these vital funds into the "capitalists" downtrodden system. As we are now learning, merely a case of using a page from the socialist playbook of never letting "a serious crisis go to waste".

The question could also be pondered, why would $297 billion of the $415 billion be spent on tax benefits and entitlements and the remaining $118 billion on contracts, grants and loans? I'm not a Harvard educated economist , but it would seem that out of the five avenues of infusion of federal funds into the economy, contracts and loans to small businesses would be the only credible method.

Why would this administration be holding back the remaining $372 billion? Are we that far removed from the economic crisis that facilitated the additional $787 billion that was added to the deficit?

There are a number of organizations that are responsible in a number of ways for electing this administration. They have patiently waited on the sidelines in their woolly costumes anticipating the massive windfall awaiting them as a result of taxing carbon emissions. They quietly watched as the debunked global warming conspiracies, that were the catalyst for climate change legislation and Cap and Trade, slowly melted away their dreams of "social justice".

A great number of the main players of these organizations are growing weary of denying themselves the "cheap satisfaction of the radical pose". They have thrown off the sheep's clothing and are beginning to bare their fangs for the world to see. These organizations include, but are not limited to;

Green For All
ACORN
Center for American Progress
Service Employees International Union
NAACP
Redefining Progress

In a press release dated June 4, 2010, the DOE announced," $29 Million in Recovery Act Awards for Weatherization Training Centers". The release goes on to say,

"The U.S. Department of Energy announced today that 34 projects in 27 states have been selected to receive $29 million under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to develop and expand weatherization training centers across the country. These projects will provide green job training for local workers in energy efficiency retrofitting and weatherization services. With this training, skilled workers can help expand the use of energy efficient practices in America's homes and businesses".

With the prospects looking extremely gloomy on getting Cap and Trade passed and funding the major players of the "green jobs" scam, I assume Barack is pleasantly pleased that he held on to the $372 billion.

Could it be just a strange coincidence that there remains a "reserve" to fill the void left by the absence of carbon emissions tax dollars?

The entire "green movement" depends on taxing the "polluters". If Cap and Trade or any form of energy legislation is not enacted that produces "revenues" for these ministers of "social justice", there may be a "higher" price to pay than the $372 billion.

The $29 million awarded by the Department of Energy for "green job training" is just one of the first steps of appeasement for these organizations. This is one way to go around Congress in allocating funds for these "community organizers".

How is $29 million that has already been tapped for stimulating the economy going to accomplish this by being spent on "green job" training?

Who are the "community organizers" providing the training and who are they accountable to for the appropriation of these funds?

Is this administration buying time until they can have Nancy parachute in with Cap and Trade?  Time will tell.
.
If indeed these funds are being withheld from the economy to stem the tide of "radical" agendas until Cap and Trade is enacted, could this be a gross instance of misappropriation of federal funds by the executive branch?

At any rate, the Republicans may finally have their chance to change the name of the Stimulus Plan.

May I recommend.....

This is what we are throwing 5 billion dollars at?
